A Starry Night Mosaic

Image of mosaicThis version of Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night, is comprised of a mosaic of photos taken with the Hubble telescope.

Astrophysicist Alex Parker created the image using 100 Hubble photos in a free package called AndreaMosaic.

You can see a high rez image here. There is a sort of magic about making an image of stars from stars.
