Everyday Matters Drawing Challenge 93

Every Day Matters Challenge 93I have done another of the Everyday drawing challenge prompts. Number 93 is “Draw an egg carton, with or without eggs in it.”

This drawing feels awkward. I had trouble with the angle of the lid. I left it to spring open of its own accord. I should have either angled the carton so that I could see more of the side or  laid the open wide, out flat or pushed the lid up to make it a stronger upright angle.  As an exercise I learnt, which is the important thing.

Wonderful – you really created the volume of the eggs and spaces between them very well.

Lovely! And a wonderful subject too. I’ll have to remember that!
