Everyday Matters drawing challenge number 15

EDM 15 drawing of grape leavesI am still jumping around the Everyday Matters drawing challenge list.  Number 15 states simply to “Draw a tree or trees, leaves or branches”. We have grapes on our vines and they are gradually ripening. I decided to draw some of the grape leaves.  Australia has had a heat wave. We have been living with temperatures over the old century for what feels like weeks on end. It’s not weeks just feels that way. So in an attempt to avoid the high temperatures I picked the leaves and took them inside.  This was my drawing set up and below is the drawing itself.

My aim this year is to draw at least weekly and this challenge helps me do that. If you are interested here is  the EDM challenge list  and if you scroll you can see my past efforts. The Every Day Matters drawing challenge has  a yahoo group, a flickr group and Facebook page.

Thanks for the compliments Maureen – I still feel very tight and not in the habit/routine of drawing as I was when younger.

You aren’t wrong about the heat, Sharon! And right in the middle of it last week our air conditioner literally blew up. Its innards are all burnt and melted, and so are we.

But life goes on, and your drawing of the leaves is beautiful. I love leaves so this is doubly pleasing.

  4. Lovely! I think this is my favourite of all the EDM pieces you’ve posted so far.=)
